To make real money, all writers must pander to an audience, in Hollywood or on Medium. Do the writers above recognize that not a single thing was even invented on Earth by a union of workers? That no union of workers ever voted to let kids do their work for little money to learn? To allow immigrants feeling violence to enter the country. Unions are no different, in function, than corporate management. The only difference is one wants to grow profits and the other wants to redistribute those provide more to the worker than retained earnings.

Neither of them care about the social problems you pointed out. If I'm wrong, please point the unions who do anything for anyone else. Again, this is all glossed over by the writers you mention because most people want a simple story that corporations are evil and people generally good.

I agree with you. There's nothing special about the writer's union. Indeed, they aren't a "labor" union at all. They aren't paid for their time. Each is a factory in him/herself. As you point out, they're really just another part of management, designing and building product. And most of that product is often harmful.
