To Russia With Love — AI For Your War Effort
A quick musing on a comment Loaded Dice made to one of my comments on his/her comment on a story I don’t remember.
Western sanctions. What a joke.
Currently, the U.S. Congress is working on banning TikTok, which has some justification, but no real understanding of technology. If the CCP did use TikTok maliciously we could remove its DNS within seconds and that would be the end of that.
While politicians worry about silly TikTok and its evil Chinese Overlords vaping on a Hollywood backlot, it’s letting AI move around the world helping anyone use commodity electronics to do more with less — including blowing stuff up. Especially blowing stuff up!
So when you read about Ukraine’s drone attacks on Russian infrastructure where do you believe it’s getting those drones from?
Not us.
Ukrainians are making them. Same for the sea drones. With parts from Asia.
Let me digress for a second.
When the war began I believed Putin would lose quickly, Ukraine rise up, and Russians end up like North Koreans.
