War is defined as an armed conflict between sovereign nations. Gaza is not a sovereign nation. One can argue how much Israel occupies Gaza.
In any case, Gaza has no tanks, aircraft, satellites, modern drones, etc., etc. Israel has the power to kill every Palestinian. Gazans have no such power. Israel decides how many Palestinians it will kill and how much property destroy.
It's doubtful the protestors will effect the "war". Israel will pull out of Gaza when the Israeli population believes their children are getting killed for no progress in the "war".
Israel will go back to laying a passive siege on Gaza.
What Israel doesn't take seriously is its reputational harm in the International community--especially the Middle East.
For the next 30 years, it will be politically difficult for most countries to trade or support Israel in any way. It will be a pariah. My guess is that it will give citizenship to all Palestinians. That will be the cost of accessing global markets. It will also be the only thing that will decrease the ongoing violence.
Or, it will become a theocracy. I don't know. My 2-cents.
