Well written and argued but depressing. I'm a white male, 60. I went to public schools with large black populations. I never knew a single hyper-sexual black person, but as you say, they are plentiful in cultural media and stereotypes.

You might find this offensive, but to me Bill Cosby is a hero. Of course, what we did to women was repulsive. But he also held white mores to account. He reminded blacks that it didn't take many to reinforce white stereotypes. He encouraged professional blacks to stand up and be counted. O.J. Simpson, another easy target. Again, what he did was reprehensible. But being black had little to do with what he did. He's one of many men, who feeling slighted by their family, with kids and another man involved, resorts to violence. Nothing to do with color but we all know why everyone followed the saga.

So yes, what you wrote is true to me. On the good side, in my short life I have witnessed blacks make up some serious distance. The military has been a positive in that. We now have black fighter jet pilots, for example, the elite of the elite, something I wouldn't have thought impossible 30 years ago. So much positive stuff, but easy to say when you can drive anywhere in the country without being harrassed.
