What I find fascinating is how the Western news has been dragging its heals in reporting the simple fact that the plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire. Everyone wants to believe when they get on a commercial plane they're safe, wherever they are in the world. We have mass psychosis about this. We always want to find a palatable reason for a plane crashing--something that can be fixed or a problem that is one-in-a-billion.

We're in WWIII. To me, that the Western media doesn't report this a casualty of war in yet another indication of how delusional most people are about that.
