What I mean is no nuclear weapon nation has fired a ballistic missile at another which could be interpreted as a nuclear attack.
Here's a section of a new source: "The Islamic Republic has remained silent on the type of missiles used in the early Sunday morning attack, leaving the details shrouded in secrecy. However, by analyzing Israeli military reports and combining them with open-source intelligence, analysts suggest that one of the missiles might have been an Emad (Imad) missile. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson confirmed that only the fuel tank of the intercepted missile was recovered, as the warhead and engine were destroyed by the long-range Arrow air defense system."
Warhead and engine destroyed? I doubt it.
The longest range SCUD is 400 miles. To reach Israel Iran would have had to use at least an EMAD, with a range over 1,100 miles. As I wrote, if Israeli radar picked up one of those (unexpected) I'm not sure what the response would be.
You keep calling me ludicrous and indefensible, etc. I don't write stories to educate readers on the basics of various subjects. Others do it WAY better than I. My stories connect various disciplines and ideas together for further thought, to help others see interesting connections.
If you believe the Arrow system effectively shoots down long-range ballistic missiles my stories will do nothing for you. I'd LOVE for you to help me understand the fundamentals, but the evidence you're offered doesn't work for me for reasons I've explained. But I appreciate your effort to keep trying.
