What isn't said enough, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Hamas is only one rebel group in the region. It can do a deal, but that doesn't mean other groups will. I don't believe Hezbollah will allow Israelis to come back and live along the Lebanese border. Or other groups won't. And the there are the Palestinians in the West Bank, biding their time, until they get the opportunity to strike.

Israel has stirred up the hornets nest of hornets nest and it will take years to settle down. Each day, Israel becomes poorer and poorer. When the stock market crashes and the global recession is obvious to everyone we'll see if Israel still has its suit on or is swimming naked.
