What planet is the U.S. Air Force living on?
Let’s say you have van with a million dollars worth of electronics. Would you leave it out on the street? Or would you hire a guard?
So we’re supposed to believe anyone can fly their drones in “international airspace” And not risk someone monkeying with them? Is there some special love every human on the planet has for the U.S. Airforce? If I put a U.S. Airforce sticker on my van would no one touch it?
Why does every other air force have to scramble jets to protect its stuff but the U.S. does not? Every day, HUNDREDS of people are getting killed in Ukraine, many of them CHILDREN. Isn’t it horrible that pilots coming back from their bombing runs should fly in such an “unsafe” and “reckless” manner?
Why don’t Russians get it. Kill anyone you want in Ukraine. Just don’t touch our toys. That's the message the U.S. is sending.
We're entitled. Leave our stuff alone. We bear no responsibility for the people getting killed in Ukraine. We'll give them weapons to kill each other but that has nothing to do with anything else.
I beg to differ.
That our government should show such little respect, or acknowledgement, of what's going on to REAL PEOPLE in Ukraine (And Russia) is mind blowing.
The general did not need to editorialize about the behavior of the pilots. We simply do NOT know why they did what they did. Hundred of people are getting killed every day. "unsafe" and "unprofessional" from military leaders are words from people seriously out of touch with reality.
Or out of touch with the reality most of us, who care about the people getting killed, live in.
