What we need for Ukraine is both Democrats and Republicans sharing the credit for helping. In that way, the Congress and Senate can provide for assistance.

Why should the Republicans help anyone who fights so dirty in that way? The State of the UNION" is not supposed to be a campaign speech. Partisan politics has no business there. I don't know if a Republican would be better. I don't see how one would be worse. My guess is he'd be better, but the logic is subtle. In the end, it is Republicans who will fight Russia from patriotism. The Democrats are fair-weather fighters. Empty out warehouses of old ammunition? No problem. If Biden knows Putin so well why are we here today? Listening to Biden's hour long worth of exaggerations and rude behavior made me want to puke. As much as I hate Trump I had to put this image in my head of him pulling Putin close to him to say who's boss.
