What you've explained is theoretically true. I agree 100%. But sometimes there is NO REASON why something won't work, it just doesn't. Like chess. There's no reason why you can't win by attack on the side of the board. But no one does. It's not a rule, law or theoretically impossible. Indeed, someone might argue because no one tries one can do it if they work hard enough. No on will expect it. Anyway, from my experience, it can't be done.

Perhaps Musk will find a way, find what everyone else was missing. I just don't see it. The proof will be in a working rocket.
