When I was in junior high school I got on a bus and sat in front of a black girl who had his Ziggy Stardust album on her lap. It was a seminal moment for me. I would have been shocked if it was ANY girl with that album back then. I don't know what album I thought my black schoolmate should have, but it wasn't that ;)
