When we're drunk we believe we're saying brilliant things. To the sober person, is often isn't so. Do I come into a restaurant and tell you to stop "demonstrating nonsense to the whole world"? No. Because I understand we all have our enjoyments. What important is we enjoy ourselves, right?

I seldom drink. It's just not me. My guess is the people who read me also don't drink much. It's a conversation that seems drunk if you don't read a lot of history, philosophy, politics, science etc. But to people who follow this stuff they get the connections. We're riffing on each other's readings, ideas, etc.
