Which is why Russia will be under NATO one day too. NATO is about working together, about cooperation, about freedom to disagree. But the reality is there are weak NATO members and strong ones.

Putin doesn't want to be a small fish in the big ocean. I get it. But he is a small fish and he is being eaten alongside hundreds of Russians and Ukrainians every day. No amount of calling NATO evil will change that. It will only change when Russia is weakened to the point that it no longer functions--just like Germany and Japan.

You seem to believe most Americans are goody-two-shoes. We're not. We're just as thuggish as Putin. You think by pointing out the history of NATO countries you're upsetting everyone. You're not. No one really disagrees with it, or agrees with it. The business of America is business as they used to say. It's still true.

Ukraine has just earned a seat far up the table.

Putin doesn't want to do business with the West? Fine. Accept the consequences when you promised you'd never use oil/gas to extort things from the West--and then you do. You could have kept Crimea, but you were greedy and now you will die.
