Yep. You so nailed it with this piece. I don't mind being underpaid. The whole "but we have the lowest unemployment rates" missing the entire point. It isn't about money, it's about respect, as you point out. You never cared what they paid you to rep, what you cared about is their using your success to look good while giving you nothing in return. "We're making more money because I gave Tess a higher quota" No f-face! You're making more money because you're abusing the worker.
