Yes, but few countries bomb other countries when their own people are at each other’s throats. As India matures and becomes wealthier internal strife will subside and external threats take center stage. India doesn’t need high tech to protect its borders from China. That stuff is useless up there. China SORELY miscalculated that Indians wouldn’t fight. India miscalculated that China wouldn’t leave it alone.

What India is buying from the U.S. will be used elsewhere. I’m with you. India a great people. Unfortunately, becoming a super power has never been achieved, in my opinion, without crimes against humanity. I wish it wasn’t that way. I’ve seen nothing to indicate humans have changed.

I believe India will become a superpower, with all the baggage that comes with it.
