Yes, definitely wrong about the cease-fire. I can’t see how he can escalate short of using a nuke. Putin looked weak and somewhat pathetic during the event. The Ukrainians seem to be doing very well in the North. And their attacks of Snake Island with jets shows Russia no longer threatens them in the Black Sea.
