Yes, I don't disagree. What I mean about "I don't see it" is that it doesn't have any bearing on the U.S. supplying weapons and support to Ukraine. As poor as some Americans are, I can't those in Alabama loading up their cars with washing machines from Texas if those two states went to war. U.S. poverty VS Russian poverty are difficult to compare. When it comes to food and housing, poor Russians might be better off at a subsistence level, but not when it comes to an opportunity level. Or access to advanced technologies. Having a U.S. Passport alone is worth quite a bit.

I haven't been to Russia and I don't spend time in poor places here, so you're free to call BS! :)

Sports, war, anything in life. Hard to win if your heart isn't into it and I don't see that most Russians want this war. When a person does something for money they are easily corrupted because it's just a question of who pays you, right? Ukrainians aren't fighting for money. They're fighting for an ideal. Without U.S. support, they would fail of course. But they do have support and for anyone to think the U.S. is going to take a loss here is absurd to me. The U.S. is HYPER COMPETITIVE. Right now, most Americans couldn't care less. But if they felt their lifestyle was getting hurt by Russia they wouldn't give up, they'd get nasty.

Same for Europe.

It WOULD be a nice world if the EU and the U.S. said, the war is hurting our people so we should back off. Think about it. We're a country that doesn't give a shit about the homeless, about senseless gun deaths every day, about pharma killing people through opioids, etc., etc. This place disgusts me much of the time.

The U.S. defense industry will, is, wearing Russa down. It cannot be stopped anytime soon. I mean it would take years and years and years (as Vietnam did). I mean it's like next level terminator / skynet shit ;)
