Yes, I see things as you see them. You make my point from my original comment :) What does one see themselves? What does one want that should be available to them? I have both Israeli and Arab friends. It doesn’t take much discussion for them to sprinkle their language with generalized hate.

I was talking to a 99 year old woman at my Mom’s old age home the other day. I asked her if she had been to Israel. She said ‘yes’ but was very upset with how they were ‘dealing with things.’

So I make the argument to my Israeli friend, if a REAL survivor of Auschwitz is against how Palestinians are treated by Jews in Israel shouldn’t we take that seriously? Per my original comment, IF a person who actually felt the persecution of Jews that lead to Israel in the first place is critical, then shouldn’t they get first rights to be heard?

What pains me most is to see Palestinian youth, who had nothing to do with suicide bombing live out their lives in a kind of prison. I know, I’m probably triggering you with “kind of” :)
