Yes, I think we all agree! A clusterfuck from beginning to end, from top to bottom. We obviously haven't learned anything. the U.S./Israel has destabilized the whole ME and many young Americans will eventually die trying to "fix" it. The developed nations don't care what anyone does as long as it has the energy it needs. You can't "bomb" resources to keep them flowing. Eventually, you have to put boots on the ground. So that's my prediction. In the next five years you'll have American and European soldiers fighting somewhere.
