Yes, I was going to make that point but figured I'd already reached maximum speculation in my piece. To further on your comment, it's easier for Iran to make a small random course-correction in space to hit Israel than it would be for Israel to make a precise course-correction in its anti-ballistic missile to hit the incoming one. Very hard to maneuver in space as you know--I'd say virtually impossible if the missile is fired from land.
We know the major powers are working on in-space shoot down capabilities, have been since Reagan, but that's top-top-top-top secret ;) Recently, Israel couldn't even land something on the moon. So I wouldn't be so confident if I was them ;)
