Yes, I'd be dead before I could name all the failed inventions I've seen in my life ;)

I view A.I. as more of a technology than an invention. The underlying technology is based on massively scaled GPUs. I use it for programming, image generation, video generation, etc. I wrote a few months ago that I don't believe AI will make money in retail market, just like plastic. Few will have jobs making plastic, but they'll use it in their business.

Many of the inventions created around A.I. (massive GPU compute) will fail, have failed! I still want a flying car though ;)
