Yes, so, I don't take it you disagree what I suggest is possible. Both Russia and the U.S. have governments ultimately run by big money interests. The difference is that in the U.S. big money ultimately talks through lawyers whereas in Russia they talk through assassination (all mafias must do this in weak legal systems). In the U.S. Prigozhin would be bogged down in court, maybe in jail. In Russia, he's blown out of the sky. Even so, Russia has a legal game.

Many say Putin pulls all the strings. I don't believe that, especially now, because he's still in power. I theorized early on that he would be taken out because everyone else is suffering too much. He wasn't. So I believe my early theory incorrect.

That said, it doesn't mean factions in Russia are all happy with him. They will try to hedge their bets, work the black market, etc. Part of it would be to salt Navalny away where they can put pressure on Putin. No one says it out loud. Putin would just ask where Navalny is and be told he was moved--administrative snafu. It's the same with Trump in a way. Even Republican (big money) who hate him understand he puts pressure on the public, keeps them preoccupied with nonsense.

I also believe Putin didn't directly order the death of Prigozhin. The military did it (or their backers). It now spooks all the powers in Russia that the game is getting out of control. Navalny. The woman running for President.

But what do I know?!!! Thanks for convo!
