Except there's a big difference. Russia's military has been exposed as a corrupt pile of junk. Russia is weak. The U.S. smells blood in the water. If Russia holds onto this status quo NATO will go back to disintegrating and the U.S. defense industry will shrink. Also, in the war with China, the U.S. has to put Russia into a position of doing what the West says or good luck with China. These are all things that are months, perhaps years off.

The U.S. will crush Russia. For the sake of your retirement dollars, when you do all the logic, that must happen. That must happen for the wealthy in Russia and China with US dollars too. That's what you ALSO need to factor into your logic about who will hedge what.

Or, the world is a mafia. The U.S. remains the largest. Russia stepped too far out of line. Americans are the most fucked up people on planet Earth. Most entitled. Most individualistic (selfish). Most suckers. Etc., Etc. But at the fat-tails creative geniuses. In the middle, murderers.

As inflation increases, and more problems arise, American won't fix the problems logically or fairly with global wokism and renewals. The U.S. can't let Russia annex that territory in Ukraine. Why should it? The U.S. is stronger? The U.S. can take all of Ukraine AND Russia if it wants. And in a way, it will. Nowhere in the animal kingdom does the stronger animal let a weaker animal walk off with a prize.

If we can let children die from the mentally ill with guns, just to keep everyone in guns, we can wipe Russia off the map with our nukes. In that Putin is right, but he says it but doesn't really believe it and that was his biggest ultimate blunder.

I'm not saying the U.S. will use nukes. It will, is, picking Russia apart bit by bit. Every 100 yards of land Russia bites off in Donbas it weakens its defenses, both military, economics, etc. Who the fck cares about the cost to Ukraine ;) Ukraine can get Russia's spot in the global mafia hierarchy.

Russia is mortally wounded. It can't hold that territory. The jackals are circling. Your dollars are safe.
