You are one of the very few people coving this stuff on Medium. My understanding, tell me if I'm wrong, is the U.S. bought off Egypt to get a peace deal with Israel. Egypt receives the 2nd most U.S. aid (military equipment) after Israel. However, for a long time China is the largest consumer of M.E. oil. It's the only who should really be supporting Egypt (theoretically). In any case, it CAN. Egypt has to be hurting big time from the Suez Canal. Operation Prosperity Guardian has been a colossal failure.

Is the Suez Canal more important to the West than Israel? Some serious shit going on and again, why aren't others writing about it?
