You don't say ;) America IS #1. What other nation can turn an anti-imperlialistic book into Imperialistic arrogance.

I can't say I remember much about the book. But I do remember the conceit that in Dune you couldn't bring all your Super power weapons and rule the place. You had learn the skill of fighting slow. You couldn't just command mother nature (the dunes and worms) to do your bidding.

Still, I know a steaming pile of talentless hackshit when I see it! Fortunately, there are shows like the German "Dark" where poetry remains.
