You wrote "It was overabundance that caused us to deviate from that." Who experienced the overabundance and how was it achieved? I believe it was achieved through cheap energy, the benefits of which flowed mostly to wealthy areas of the world.

I believe in peak oil, which was avoided by shale, which will now go through peak shale (or maybe something else will save it). Again, just my belief. I believe energy will continue to get more expensive from both the peak effects and underperformance of renewables. War will continues for decades as various governments, like Russia, are pushed to the losers table which they won't go to without a fight.

I keep my tin hat nice and polished in a closet ;)
