You'd think they would have ended WW1 in 1916. When I was young "anti-war" was a real issue for many. I'm 60. So very few young people show any interest, let alone historical knowledge. I agree with everything you say. I believe it is all repeating. People forget. And then education is a long, slow and deadly process. I hope I'm wrong for the sake of my kids.
