You're giving a 99 to 1 probability that the virus began in a wet market when there are only 3 working BSL-4 labs in China and only ONE that specializes in rodents & bats--which just happens to be, next to Wuhan. The U.S. and China are roughly the same geographic size. It would be like your making the argument that if Covid happened in Pittsburgh and there was the only rodent & bat lab in the country right there that it would only be a 1% chance that it came from the lab?
Occum would like a word with you ;)
Also, did you see the documentary "American Factory"? There is a scene in there that might push your probabilities about a lab leak farther towards the possible. Have you heard about tofu dreg projects? Have you watched Chinese buildings literally fall over from nothing. Or catching on fire as if they were covered with flammable paper. Or the infant formula deaths. Or the way China allows its rocket booster to fall on people. I mean in so many ways, not to insult China, safety is far from #1.
