There's no there, there in the U.S. Global hegemony? More like shared global interests of the wealthy. Throughout history there is one super-power currency that everyone stores their wealth in.

I see no central control. Most like to believe it is The Fed. I've believed this from the beginning of my interest in the subject 35 years ago. The Fed this, the Fed that. BS. The Dollar is going to crash and be replaced. I'm grown tired of hearing that over and over and over again--as if it was some great truth recently discovered!

Everyone knows, from the street cleaner in Argintina to the Saudi princes. From the Fed to the central bank of small countries, the wealthy will make sure they're protected or they'll take their dollars and leave.

There's no conspiracy. It's just the way of things. There's something to what you write. Don't get me wrong. But keep it in perspective.
